Bob Shepherd

The Scottish Rally Championship were saddened to hear of the untimely passing of long-time supporter Bob Shepherd on Sunday, 25th February.  Through his Station Garage business, Bob provided assistance not only to many a Scottish Mitsubishi driver over the years, but also to those famous sons of Lanark Colin McRae and Robbie Head.

His enthusiasm for rallying in general and the Scottish Championship in particular was infectious and over the years his financial contribution through various auction prizes secured at the end of year awards evening was very welcome.

A few years back he donated the Mitsubishi Motors Trophies to the Championship for the 1st Open and GpN drivers of the Japanese marks cars and, in typical fashion, never wanted or expected any recognition for his generosity.
His cheery smile and general bonhomie will be sorely missed.

Our thoughts are with his family at this difficult time.
