Royal Aero Juniors
The Following is an extract from the Regulations:
Through Royal Aero Group, SRC Junior competitors will be entitled to an entry discount scheme in 2012 which will operate as follows:
SRC Junior Drivers will qualify for an entry fee discount of £120 on every round of the 2012 Championship. Discount only applies where the driver of the car is a 2012 SRC Junior Championship registered competitor.
He/she must be fully registered in accordance with 2012 championship regulations prior to the start of the first event on which they wish discount to apply.
The discount will only be payable once 2 SRC events have been started. For their first two qualifying events the full entry fee must be paid. Within 1 week after the second event contested the SRC will process a refund for £240 to be sent out by post. This will be sent out along with vouchers for all remaining events in the calendar year. These will entitle the competitor to a discount of £120 off of each subsequent entry fee paid, and must be sent to the entries secretary of each event entered, to be received by the event within 3 days of the closing date.
To qualify as a counting event for the scheme, entries must be lodged before the closing date - late entries will not qualify towards the scheme.
At all times, only the number of events started by the driver will be considered.
Only 1 discount per car/crew/event will be permitted.
To be eligible for entry discount, competitors shall;
Carry a forward facing Royal Aero Group Junior sunstrip on their rally car at all times (as per article 7.1(iii)), and any other decals as detailed in any bulletin.
Attend a minimum of 2 SRC Junior training days at Stirling University in 2012, organised by the Colin McRae Vision Charity. These events are free to attend.
Colin McRae Vision Junior Programme 2012
Once again we are delighted to have the support of the McRae family for our ever evolving junior development programme. We will continue to partner with Stirling University as the venue for our course.
This year we will have input from the MSA Academy, they will attend our first day in the spring and present 2 workshops in the autumn. Together with our established Media, Sport Psychology and Nutrition modules makes this the only development programme of its kind for rally competitors in the UK.
The courses are free to all MSA licence holders 23 and under, if you have attended in the past and have not completed but are over 23 then it is also free so come and join us. We even provide lunch...
