The end-of-season Hankook SRC programme shown on BBC-2 Scotland on Sunday afternoon was watched by 93-thousand viewers - 2 percent more than
the number for the preceding Moto GP coverage.
What is particularly encouraging is that the figures confirm that people tuned in
specifically for the rally round-up, and then switched off. It was not a casual
audience.
The figures show that Moto GP got 7 % of the audience share in Scotland
and 10 % network.
When the Demus Productions rally review - fronted by John Beattie and Rhona McLeod -
came on air at 2pm, that audience increased to 9 % in Scotland, 7% for the network.
The rugby league coverage immediately following got 6 % in Scotland and
7 % network.
