Asset Alliance Group will extend its title partnership of the Scottish Rally Championship (SRC) into 2027 ahead of a landmark year for Scottish rallying.
Recognised as the UK leader in commercial vehicle finance and transport solutions, Asset Alliance Group also has a major footprint in Scottish rallying, supporting a plethora of rising talent including Max McRae, Garry Pearson and Ollie Forrester.
First joining the SRC as title partner in 2024, Asset Alliance Group’s commitment to the championship has been absolute, and it has been rewarded by being part of history-making seasons where David Bogie claimed a seventh Scottish Rally Championship title and Euan Thorburn was crowned the king of Scotland for a fourth time.
The story has been just as enthralling in 2026, with Garry Pearson and Mark McCulloch currently tied at the top of the championship after five ultra-competitive events.
Ahead of what promises to be an era-defining year for Scottish rallying in 2027 as the FIA World Rally Championship exclusively visits the nation for the very first time, Asset Alliance Group is keen to continue supporting Scotland’s national championship and benefit from a strong on-event presence and branding that boosts its brand and expands its business network.
Willie Paterson, CEO of Asset Alliance Group said: “We are delighted to be extending our agreement as title sponsor of the Scottish Rally Championship into 2027 and what will be a big year for Scottish Rallying.
“It has been a privilege to be involved and support the SRC over the last three years and it was an easy decision to extend. The rally community is special and we enjoy the camaraderie of the service park and the extra opportunity to support everyone with financing of commercial vehicles.
“The SRC committee and individual rally organisers and volunteers give so much time to making the championship one of the very best and we are happy that our sponsorship helps play a small part in its success.”
Fiona Moir, SRC chairwoman, added: “We are over the moon to extend our relationship with Asset Alliance Group into a fourth year in 2027. They have been the perfect title partner for the Scottish Rally Championship, with their ethos and commitment perfectly aligning with that of our competitors.
“My personal thanks to everybody at Asset Alliance Group for being delightful to work with, and I look forward to another amazing season of the Asset Alliance Group Scottish Rally Championship in 2027.”
