‘The Leanne Fund is the foremost Cystic Fibrosis support organisation in Scotland, offering a vital lifeline to those affected by the condition.
Founded in 2010 by the Mitchell family in memory of their daughter Leanne – who passed away from Cystic Fibrosis at the age of 21 – the charity has grown from its base on the Isle of Lewis to support hundreds of individuals and families across the country. Inspired by Leanne’s compassion and strength, the Fund was established as a lasting legacy of love and hope.
From the moment of diagnosis, The Leanne Fund is there. Their unique range of social, emotional, practical, and financial support services are tailored to meet the real needs of those living with CF – helping to ease burdens and bring comfort through life’s most challenging moments. From hospital stays to new home transitions, from special experiences to everyday essentials, they walk alongside families every step of the way.
