Over 400 people gathered at the Glasgow Hilton on the 27th January 2024 for the 2023 SRC season Awards Evening.
A great evening celebrating not only all the champions of 2023 but also the 4th and final year of KNC Groundworks title sponsorship. MC Roy Campbell was then able to cap off the night by announcing a new title sponsor for 2024 in Asset Alliance Group, with Group Marketing Director Grant Law taking to the stage to say a few words.
SRC Chairman Tom Hynd said:
“I am delighted to welcome Asset Alliance Group who have joined the Scottish Rally Championship as the NEW title sponsor, not just for one year but committing to the next 3 years which is extremely exciting. As chair I spoke to several companies beforehand, but after speaking to Grant Law, they for me were the best choice for the SRC. They already have a strong connection to motorsport through the support of many young drivers across different disciplines. They have the same positive attitude about helping grow the profile of not only their own company but also that of the SRC. I believe as a championship we can now grow even more from the strong platform we already have to help promote the SRC, its competitors and fellow supporters to take us from strength to strength for a successful future”.
Grant Law added:
“We have been actively involved in motorsport sponsorship and in particular supporting leading senior and junior rally drivers over a number of years, and we are delighted to now step up to the available title sponsorship of the SRC and support a championship so close to home. As a well-established UK provider of finance and leasing across commercial vehicles, including trucks, trailers, transport and construction vehicles, we also see this as a great opportunity to also support those involved in the sport with specialist asset finance needs.
