Neale Dougan continues to make steady progress from his stroke and was even asking co-driver Campbell Roy the other night if he had booked their accommodation for the Granite!. A tad optimistic but it shows at least that he is in good spirits.

Competitors please note that an on-going claim against Scotmaps by Raymond Munro has resulted in a significant increase in insurance premiums. While Scotmaps have been able to absorb some of this increase they have been left with no option but to introduce a cost increase of £5.00 on a set of route notes from and including round 3 onwards. Should the insurance premiums be reduced in the future any savings would be passed back to competitors. More details of the facts and figures behind the increase should appear in the next championship newsletter

As a result of feedback via the competitor representative, the management committee have introduced an additional class for 2008 for 2 wheel drive 16 valve cars over 2000cc. See regulations for revised classes.
